I go to pieces~
Jerry and The Peacemakers,Herman’s Hermits,The Mamas & The Papas,Cliff Richard,Engelbert Humperdinck,Cat Stevens…

大概就只有陳任了;

選來I go to pieces不為甚麼,
I go to pieces.

I go to pieces
Peter and Gordon

When I see her comin’ down the street
I get so shaky and I feel so weak
I tell my eyes look the other way
But they don’t seem to hear a word I say

And I, go to pieces and I wanna hide
Go to pieces and I almost die
Everytime my baby passes by

I tell my arms they’ll hold someone new
Another love that will be true
But they don’t listen, they don’t seem to care
They reach for her but she’s not there

And I, go to pieces and I wanna hide
Go to pieces and I almost die
Everytime my baby passes by

I remember what she said when she said
Goodbye baby. We’ll meet again soon maybe
But until we do, all my best to you
I’m so lonely, I think about her only

I go to places we used to go
But I know she’ll never show
She hurt me so much inside
Now I hope she’s satisfied

And I, go to pieces and I wanna hide
Go to pieces and I almost die
Everytime my baby passes by
Go to pieces and I cry
Everytime my baby passes by
Go to pieces and I cry

Waiting in the weeds~
Pink Floyd,
[Long road out of Eden]這雙CD時,

[Long road out of Eden]的第1碟是傳統的Eagles曲風,
而第1碟中的一曲Waiting in the weeds就最得我心.

waiting in the weeds

Waiting in the weeds
Eagles

It’s comin’ on the end of August
Another summer’s promise almost gone
And though I heard some wise man say
That every dog will have his day
He never mentioned that these dog days get so long

I don’t know when I realized the dream was over
Well, there was no particular hour,no given day
You know,it didn’t go down in flame
There was no final scene,no frozen frame
I just watched it slowly fade away

And I’ve been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for my time to come around again and
Hope is floating on the breeze
Carrying my soul high up above the ground and
I’ve been keepin’ to myself
Knowin’ that the seasons are slowly changing you
And though you’re with somebody else
He’ll never love you like I do

I’ve been biding time with the crows and sparrows
While peacocks prance and strut upon the stage
If finding love is just a dance
Proximity and chance
You will excuse me if I skip the masquerade

And I’ve been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for the dust to settle down along the
Back roads running through the fields
Lying on the outskirts of this lonesome town
And I imagine sunlight in your hair
You’re at the county fair
You’re holding hands and laughing
And now the Ferris wheel has stopped
You’re swinging on the top
Suspended there with him
And he’s the darling of the chic
The flavor of the week is melting down your pretty summer dress
Baby what a mess you’re making

I’ve been stumbling through some dark places
Now I’m following the plow
I know I’ve fallen out of your good graces
It’s alright now

And I’ve been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for the summer rain to fall upon the wild birds scattering the seeds
Answering the calling of the tide’s eternal tune
The phases of the moon
The chambers of the heart
The egg and dart
A small gray spider spinning in the dark
In spite of all the times the web is torn apart
And I’ve been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for my time to come around again and
Hope is floating on the breeze
Carrying my soul high up above the ground and
I’ve been keepin’ to myself
Knowin’ that the seasons are slowly changing you
And though you’re with somebody else
He’ll never love you like I do

Wish you were here~
Wish you were here可說是難得地充滿深情的一曲.

[Dark side of the moon]這張世上最重要之一的唱片後,
Pink Floyd為記念樂隊的創建者Syd Barrett而創作了[Wish you were here]一碟.

Shine on you crazy diamond的錄音時,
Syd Barrett

Remember when you were young,
You shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond……

Wish you were here
Pink Floyd

So,so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here
We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl
year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here

Change your mind~

也聽了Neil Young and Crazy Horse的[Sleep with angels].

亦換作了美其名為沉著的耐力;

Change your mind,change your mind…

Change your mind
Neil Young

When you get weak, and you need to test your will
When life’s complete,but there’s something missing still
Distracting you from this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Don’t let another day go by without the magic touch

Distracting you (change your mind)
Supporting you (change your mind)
Embracing you (change your mind)
Convincing you (change your mind)

When you’re confused and the world has got you down
When you feel used and you just can’t play the clown
Protecting you from this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Don’t let another day go by without the magic touch

Protecting you (change your mind)
Restoring you (change your mind)
Revealing you (change your mind)
Soothing you (change your mind)

You hear the sound, you wait around and get the word
You see the picture changing everything you’ve heard
Destroying you with this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Don’t let another day go by without the magic touch

Destroying you (change your mind)
Embracing you (change your mind)
Protecting you (change your mind)
Confining you (change your mind)
Distracting you (change your mind)
Supporting you (change your mind)
Distorting you (change your mind)
Controlling you (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)

The morning comes and there’s an odor in the room
The scent of love, more than a million roses bloom
Embracing you with this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Don’t let another day go by without the magic touch

Embracing you (change your mind)
Concealing you (change your mind)
Protecting you (change your mind)
Revealing you (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind,change your mind
Change your mind
Change your mind,change your mind
Change your mind
Change your mind,change your mind
Change your mind,change your mind

You keep me hangin’ on~

You keep me hangin’ on
J.J.Cale

Every time I stop awhile
And think about your sweet smile
I can’t do nothing else all day

The way that you wink your eye
Every time you walk by
Baby what can I say

You keep me hanging on
I can’t get nothing else on
When the evening rolls around
And there ain’t nobody around
Baby, I think of you

Of all the stars at night
None can match the brilliant light
That I see in your eyes

The humble warmth,the glow
Baby child I know
I still think of you

You keep me hanging on
I can’t get nothing else on
If I could hold you Just one time
Stop that moment in my mind

Human touch~

Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen
Bron to run,Thunder road,The river,Hungry heart,Glory day,My hometown…

Bruce Springsteen,
[Working on a dream],

Human touch
Bruce Springsteen

You and me we were the pretenders
We let it all slip away
In the end what you don’t surrender
Well the world just strips away
Girl, ain’t no kindness in the face of strangers
Ain’t gonna find no miracles here
Well you can wait on your blesses my darling
I got a deal for you right here
I ain’t looking for praise or pity
I ain’t coming round searching for a crutch
I just want someone to talk to
And a little of that human touch
Just a little of that human touch

Ain’t no mercy on the streets of this town
Ain’t no bread from heavenly skies
Ain’t nobody drawing wine from this blood
It’s just you and me tonight
Tell me,in a world without pity
Do you think what I’m askin’s too much
I just want something to hold on to
And a little of that human touch
Just a little of that human touch

Oh girl that feeling of safety that you prize
Well it comes at a hard hard price
You cant shut off the risk and the pain
Without losing the love that remains
We’re all riders on this train

So you’ve been broken and you’ve been hurt
Show me somebody who ain’t
Yeah,I know I ain’t nobodys bargain
But,hell,a little touch up and a little paint…
You might need something to hold on to
When all the answers, they don’t amount to much
Somebody that you could just to talk to
And a little of that human touch
Baby,in a world without pity
Do you think what I’m askin’s too much
I just want to feel you in my arms
Share a little of that human touch
Feel a little of that human touch
Give me a little of that human touch

Three little birds~
會想起Bob Marley,
只因[I am legend].

每天都在聽Bob Marley;
更大談起Bob Marley的音樂與亊蹟;
而片名[I am legend],
[Legend]…
Will Smith,

Bob Marley.

Three little birds
Bob Marley(6.2.1945~11.5.1981)

Don’t worry about a thing
Cause every little thing gonna be all right
Singin’:[Don’t worry about a thing,
Cause every little thing gonna be all right!]

Rise up this mornin’
Smiled with the risin’ sun
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin’ sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true
Sayin’:[This is my message to you-ou-ou.]

You got it~
Oh,Pretty woman,Crying,In dreams,Blue Bayou,Only the lonely…
Roy Orbison

Roy Orbison

Bruce Springsteen,Tom Waits,Elvis Costello,Jackson Browne,K.D.Lang…
Roy Orbison
[A black and white night]演唱會十分成功,
The Traveling Wilburys,
Roy Orbison

其中You got it乃上榜金曲,
Roy Orbison

You got it
Roy Orbison(23.4.1936~6.12.1988)

Every time I look into your lovely eyes
I see a love that money just cant buy
One look from you,I drift away
I pray that you are here to stay

Anything you want,you got it
Anything you need,you got it
Anything at all,you got it
Baby

Every time I hold you I begin to understand
Everything about you tells me I’m your man
I live my life to be with you
No one can do the things you do

Anything you want,you got it
Anything you need,you got it
Anything at all,you got it
Baby

Anything you want
Anything you need
Anything at all

Im glad to give my love to you
I know you feel the way I do

Anything you want, you got it
Anything you need,you got it
Anything at all,you got it
Baby

Anything you want,you got it
Anything you need,you got it
Anything at all,you got it
Baby

Anything at all
Baby
You got it

Vincent~

Starry starry night,
意指名畫[星夜];
Vincent,
就是Vincent Van Gogh.

Vincent
Don McLean

Starry starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer’s day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for you sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they did not know how
Perhaps they’ll listen now

Starry starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent’s eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist’s loving hand

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for you sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they did not know how
Perhaps they’ll listen now

For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you

Starry starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can’t forget
Like the stranger that you’ve met
The ragged man in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow

Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for you sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they’re not listening still
Perhaps they never will

Norwegian wood(This bird has flown) ~
In my life,
Norwegian wood

即歌中那用廉價松木装潢的房子;
Norwegian wood

Norwegian wood(This bird has flown)
Beatles

I once had a girl,or should I say,she once had me
She showed me her room, isn’t it good,Norwegian wood?

She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhere
So I looked around and I noticed there wasn’t a chair

I sat on a rug,biding my time,drinking her wine
We talked until two,and then she said:[it’s time for bed.]

She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh
I told her I didn’t and crawled off to sleep in the bath

And when I awoke I was alone, this bird had flown
So I lit a fire,isn’t it good,Norwegian wood

Wipe out~

The Ventures

The Messiah will come again~
Roy Buchanan
尤記得其中[Dancing on the edge]碟裡的一首Peter Gunn,

Roy Buchanan

Roy Buchanan

Roy Buchanan

Tunnel of Love~
認識Dire Straits,
Mark Knopfler.

[Sultans of swing],
聽到第一曲Down to the waterline那美妙的結他intro一響起時,

Tunnel of Love
Dire Straits

Getting crazy on the waltzers but it’s the life that I choose
Sing about the sixblade sing about the switchback and a torture tattoo
And I been riding on a ghost train where the cars they scream and slam
And I don’t know where I’ll be tonight but I’ll always tell you where I am

In a screaming ring of faces I seen her standing in the light
She had a ticket for the races, yeah, just like me she was a victim of the night
I put my hand upon the lever said let it rock and let it roll
I had a one arm bandit fever there was an arrow through my heart and my soul

And the big wheel keep on turning, neon burning up above
And I’m just high on the world
Come on and take a low ride with me girl
On the tunnel of love, yeah love

It’s just a danger, and when you’re riding at your own risk
She said you are the perfect stranger, she said baby just keep it like this
It’s just a cakewalk twisting baby step right up and say
Hey mister give me two, give me two now,’cause any two can play

And the big wheel keep on turning, neon burning up above
And I’m just high on the world
Come on and take a low ride with me girl
On the tunnel of love,oh oooh love

Well it’s been money for muscle on a,another whirligig
Money for muscle and another girl I dig
Another hustle just to,just to make it big
And rockaway,rockaway,oooh rockaway,rockaway

And girl it looks so pretty to me like it always did
Oh Like the Spanish City to me when we where kids
Hey girl it looks so pretty to me like it always did
Oh Like the Spanish City to me when we were kids

She took off a silver locket she said remember me by this
She put her hand in my pocket,I got a keepsake and a kiss
And in the roar of dust and diesel I stood and watched her walk away
I could have caught up with her easy enough but something must have made me stay

And the big wheel keep on turning, neon burning up above
And I’m just high on this world
Come on and take a low ride with me girl
On the tunnel of love, yeah love love
On the tunnel of love, oooh love love

And now I’m searching through these carousels and the carnival arcades
Searching everywhere from steeplechase to palisades
In any shooting gallery where promises are made To rockaway, rockaway, rockaway, rockaway
From Cullercoats and Whitley Bay out to rockaway

And girl it looks so pretty to me like it always did
Like the Spanish City to me when we where kids
Girl it looks so pretty to me like it always did
Like the Spanish City to me when we where kids

Inside looking out~
CCR,CSN & Y,GFR…

又或是堕落深淵不能自拔;

Inside looking out
Grand funk railroad

I’m sitting here lonely like a broken man
I serve my time doin the best I can
Walls and bars they surround me
But,I dont want no sympathy

No baby,no baby
All I need is some tender lovin
To keep me sane in this burning oven
And,when my time is up,you’ll be my reefer

Life gets worse on gods green earth
Be my reefer, got to keep smokin that thing
No,no,no,no,no,no
No,no,no,no,no,no,no

I said now baby…baby…let me smoke it…smoke it…
Makes me feel good…feel good,yes,I feel good…ahhhhh…

Yes,I feel alright…feel alright…yes,I feel alright…feel alright…Yes,I feel alright…ahhhhh…
Ohhhhh…

Ice cold water is runnin through my veins
They try and drag me back to work again
Pain and blisters on my mind and hands
I work all day making up burlap bags

The oats theyre feeding me are driving me wild
I feel unhappy like a new born child
Now,when my time is up,you wait and see
These walls and bars wont keep that stuff from me

No,no,baby
Wont keep that stuff from me
No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no
No,no,no,no,no,no,no

I need you right now mama
I need you right now baby
Right by my side,honey
All night long

Make me feel alright…
Yes,all…yes,all…yes,all…alright

You better come on up and get down with me
I’ll make you feel real good, just you wait and see

Make me feel alright…yes,I feel alright…
Yes,all…yes,all…yes,alright

This is a film~

Johnny Depp,

This is a film
Iggy Pop

This is a film about a man and a fish
This is a film about dramatic relationship between a man and a fish
The man stands between life and death
The man thinks
The horse thinks
The sheep thinks
The cow thinks
The dog thinks
The fish doesn’t think
The fish is mute
Expressionless
The fish doesn’t think
Because the fish knows
Everything

The fish knows
Everything

Jersey girl~

Tom Waits

Tom Waits

Jersey girl
Tom Waits

Got no time for the corner, boys
Down in the street makin’ all that noise
Don’t want no whores on eighth avenue
Cause tonight i’m gonna be with you

Cause tonight i’m gonna take that ride
Across the river to the jersey side
Take my baby to the carnival
And I’ll take you on all the rides

Down the shore everything’s alright
You with your baby on a saturday night
Don’t you know that all my dreams come true
When I’m walkin’ down the street with you

Sing sha la la la la la la…
I in love with a jersey girl
Sha la la la la la la…

You know she thrills me with all her charms
When i’m wrapped up in my baby’s arms
My little angel gives me everything
I know someday that she’ll wear my ring

So don’t bother me cause I got no time
I’m on my way to see that girl of mine
Nothin’ else matters in this whole wide world
When you’re in love with a jersey girl

Sing sha la la la la la la…
I in love with a jersey girl
Sha la la la la la la…

And I call your name
I can’t sleep at night

Sha la la la la la la…
I in love with a jersey girl
Sha la la la la la la…

BLT~
BLT是指bacon,lettuce and tomato sandwich,
Lee Oskar

Lee Oskar,
